Artist Statement for Gaddier Rosario
|
|
|
Search and I search for myself amongst the threads of forms and colors, telling my ideas and ideals in the painting. An invitation to a mute world: where you may converse with the self that inhabits within each one of us.
My art is autonomous but not autistic; it is polluted through life, rendered sensible to the figures and symbols of the era and the signs of time: the raw matter that is transfigured by art as an offering beyond its immediacy. Always searching to freely capture the sensibility that surrounds me and, as its consequence, express my own truth.
