Artist Statement:
Healing my spirit through
creation…
My work creates itself. When I
paint I think very little of
an image that I am trying to
produce, I detach myself from
the outcome, Eliminate doubt,
just do and enjoy the act of
making marks. Express energy
my body is feeling at that
moment. And seeing it manifest
before my eyes. It’s been a
very beautiful experience for
me, feels like transmitting
for the universal voice.
Becoming the antennae, tuning
in. I needed a way to cope
with stress my body and mind
were feeling. In the past I
left my body to feel intense…
And now I have an intense
fulfilling experience through
the act of creation… Each day
the experience grows more
intense, the more I expose my
feelings. I have never felt so
alive. It’s magic to me, and I
thank the spirit for this
healing. My work is my
therapy, what I am feeling.
