Artist Statement:
My work is mostly
Expressionistic in style,
however I am quite comfortable
working across a range of
styles and mediums. From
realism through to
abstraction. Painting and
drawing through to photography
and printmaking. I
particularly enjoy painting
large scale works in acrylic
and oil. I am happy to
undertake private or corporate
commissions (references
available), as I have had a
fair amount of experience in
this area.
I have also produced large
scale public murals for
clients such as the Australian
Broadcasting Corporation,
Department Of Environment,
Qld,
Cairns Port Authority,
Cairns Regional Gallery and
Brisbane City Council.
My arts experience also
includes teaching/tutoring in
tertiary and secondary
situations (TAFE, Flying Arts,
Brisbane Institute of Art,
Queensland At Teachers
Association and specialised
workshops for Royal Queensland
Art Society-Gold Coast) as I
have taught Painting, Life
Drawing, Printmaking and
Photography.
I am currently teaching
photography full-time at the
Australian International Art
