Artist Statement:
I retired from the US Navy and
attended the Coronado School
of Fine Arts in Coronado,
California. After leaving the
San Diego area and moving to
Ouray, Colorado I became
involved in a new career as a
hospital environmental
services director, where I
worked until fully retiring in
1998. I paint in oil,
acrylic, or soft pastel and I
sketch and draw in charcoal.
My ambitions are to become
proficient in oil painting of
portraits and human form. I
always paint for my own
pleasure. ...
