Artist Statement:
Oscar Wilde once said, ‘We are
all in the gutter, but some of
us are looking at the stars.’
I can relate to that feeling
of awe at the mysterious
beauty of the stars, out of
the reach of us mortals caught
up in our earthly
tribulations. I'm searching
for the same light and spirit
in my paintings--an effort
that will keep me painting for
