Artist Statement:
As an architect I have a
special sensibility toward the
space like human environment;
I express this by the
application of the classic
perspective, the light
effects, and the recurrent,
almost obsessive appearance in
my pictorial work, of doors,
windows, stairways,
balustrades and other
architectural elements.
Discover the North American
painter's Edward Hopper work
reaffirmed me in the
conviction of the intense
expressive force that there is
in the figurative vision of
the daily spaces.
Through the pictorial language
I tell the spectator and
myself everything that could
never communicate with words
because it belongs to the
environment of the irrational
thing, of the unconscious
thing.
