Reviews for George Brinner:
|
|
|
"Every Art Maui has a newcomer who bursts on
the Maui art scene. This year it is George
R. Brinner. His acrylic still life/landscape
"Apple Hill" is wonderfully Cezanne-esque in
its composition, subject matter and palette.
But this artist has skewed the perspective.
The foreground of the work is a close-up of
apples perched on a shelf or window sill that
overlooks verdant yellow hills and trees."
