Artist Statement:
"My paintings are based on the
land I inhabit. I develop my
larger pieces in the studio
from sketches and paintings I
create on site. The goal for
me is always to capture the
rugged beauty of North
America.
My line paintings are painted
using one continuous line with
a beginning, and an ending.
Although it changes colour,
the line never touches, or
crosses itself.
First, I draw out the basic
image, whether it be a flower,
tree or other object. However,
that is where the planning
ends. The line takes shape, as
I paint it, with no set path
or direction.
I am available for commissions
of all kinds. Contact me."
