Artist Statement for George Delena
|
|
|
I've been interested in and composing graphic designs for several decades, and in the infinite simplicities and complexities of design I find continuous fasination. I have worked with purely geometric paintings using the basic shapes and patterns; squares, cubes, stripes, dots etc. and in more figurative abstract design of objects, people and landscapes. And in both explorations of graphics, express ideas and emotions meant to engage the mind and intrigue the eye.
