Artist Statement:
In childhood I was challenged
by the idea of trying to
reproduce one of my father’s
drawings; I would spend many
hours locked up in my room
perfecting my skills and my
style. During years I
developed a style that
combines beautiful rich
surfaces with vivid colors,
also playing with emotional
dark to soft light figures,
shapes and imaginary creatures
or silhouettes; this method of
painting has freed me to
create a painting from my
imagination, memory or
something that I’ve seen or
read; I have to be alone in
order to concentrate on what
I’m doing with color and
design and my feelings. After
years of perfecting this
method, these paintings
drained me both physically and
mentally.
For the past two years I have
been working on a three major
series: first of the series
describing mysteries of young
women, the second is based on
the family theme and the third
series involve nudes. In
creating this series I have
been highlighted my poetic
world, I create stages of life
that witness and experience
each with its own wisdom, and
take pleasure in its own
simplicity to playing the
dilemma of right or wrong,
