Artist Statement:
NEW Artist Statement:
Creating and painting is an integral part of my everyday life. In all honesty, I would continue to create even if I
never sold a painting or piece of art work. In the beginning I focused mostly on Acrylics. Later I began to add
watercolor to my repertoire. Naturally eventually, oil became another medium, I began to embrace.
What stands out about my work mostly I think is the multitude of different subject matter, I explore.
No other world has given me such opportunity to learn about a subject or explore a medium as art and in
particular painting has done. I can't imagine painting the same thing every day, nor can I image to come to a
point, where I feel I have arrived at some sort of mastery, I cant even say it is my goal to achieve mastery.
The pleasure for me is in the doing, the process.
As longer as I create, as more I realize there is so much more to learn, so many more subjects to paint, so much
more to explore. If I had nine lives and endless days and if I never needed any sleep, I may even ...
