| Your Personal Biography |
Gila Hameiri was born in France, grew up in Switzerland and lives today in Tel-Aviv. She paints in her studio at Ganei Yehuda and is member of the Artist Association in Petah-Tikva. For the last 25 years Gila Hameiri paints and creates out of personal necessity, challenge and pleasure. Among her teachers are Yossi Mark, Avinoam Kosovsky and Batia Maagal.
Gila's works are of a figurative-abstract nature and she uses oil and acrylic colours. Her brush strokes uncover the romantic resonance of her personality. The landscape close-ups she creates expose the secrets of a hidden world emanating from the background. Gila finds her way of expression through painting and this is what turns her work into her very personal art. |
