Artist Statement:
I am an "intuitive" artist who paints without knowing what the outcome will be. With each piece that I create, I embark on a wonderful guided journey that gradually unveils the beauty and light in the image. As I work, a story, truth or lesson of life reveals itself to me through the image. My purpose in creating my art is to faithfully pass on the "visual message" I have received. I am always excited as I work. It is rather like taking a journey to a new and wonderful place. In a real sense, I am a co-creator of my art. For the vision and the message are gathered from the mysterious unknown.
I have a background as a computer programmer and have recently returned to art and now the digital format, for the first time. I find that I prefer the digital format because it combines a sculpting element with the ability to smear, reshape, recolor, resize and synthesize various elements into one work. I love it's malleability and flexibility....
