Kia ora!
My name is Gillian Laird
I am a young emerging artist
still currently studying from
New Zealand.
My tribal affiliations include
Ngaitu teauru hapu in the
north, from the Ngapuhinuitonu
iwi.
I draw on the natural vastness
of knowledge from the land we
live in.
I appreciate and value the
people, family and friends
whom procastinate, critique
and support me in my journey
of art.
It is common knowledge that to
progress forward in ones life,
one must first assess the
space of time in which one has
been already. The returning,
the researching of such ideas
and and theories, builds
foundations for new and more
creative inspirations.
I like the opportunity to
utilise different resources
and mediums from the world in
which we live today....
