Artist Statement:
I am a glass paint artist from Fairhaven Massachusetts. I have collected old antique windows from the historical area of town and I paint them with stained glass paint. I like to reflect the nautical themes of the shorline area in Fairhaven and Cape Cod. My inspirations are sea fairies, bubbles, underwater life, and mermaides.
These gorgeous painted glass panels are stunning at a fraction of the cost of leaded glass. They are easy to hang providing privacy, and a simple easily hung window treatment for the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or anyplace where you will enjoy the sparkle of refracted light.
The glass art is handpainted using the reverse glass technique. The window frames still contain their original hardware. They have been painted in a variety of colors with indoor outdoor high gloss latex paint. The underlying cracked paint is left behind for the most part leaving the desirable crackle intact. The frames are either black, white shabby or purple. The glass paint will resist water but should not be considered waterproof or used as an eating surface.
Comissions gladly accepted. Custom painting, frosting and etching of your windows is available. ...

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My life experiences are my biggest inspiration. Since I waited until recent years to express my art, it has more depth and meaning to it than it could have if I started after college.
I love the ocean and the nautical themes of the shoreline at Buzzards Bay and Cape Cod. |

I make handpainted antique windows, panels and suncatchers. Use them for hanging in front of windows as simple to hang window treatments to provide privacy and the beauty of stained glass for a fraction of the price, without lead, and no difficulties with installation and maintence.
I love to work with glass and I am especially interested in color. It's my eye for color matching that makes my art look its best.
In the past I have done many types of art from pastels, and charcoal to calligraphy, Sumi-e Chinese water colors, Japanese kanji, henna and tattooing.
I see art everywhere even in food, and flowers. I try to create beauty in little ways whenever I can with cusine, gardening or Ikebana.
