Artist Statement:
My work deals with the dichotomies of vulnerability and strength, pain and joy, transience and timelessness. It is about memories, emotions and ambiguities we experience as we grow from one phase of our lives to the next. It is always narrative and often contains words and statements.
I use screen-printing, based on photographs and real objects, combined with collage and fiber related techniques such as stitching and thread manipulation. My materials range from fibre materials such as paper and lint to metal objects and materials from nature....
