Artist Statement:
Gonzalo Ordóñez, born in La
Paz, Bolivia (1976).
Ordonez is one of the bolivian
young artists new generation.
His work on photography has
been recognized in important
events and contests of
contemporary art, aswell
published in diferent editions
in Bolivia, Switzerland, and
England.
Solo and collective
exhibitions in photography and
contemporary art were shown in
several countries since 2001
(Bolivia, México, Cuba, Italy,
and Kyrguiztan).
In 2005 he was granted by
I.L.O. (UN) for a postgraduate
program in culture management
(Turin), whereas in 2006
granted by Triangle Art Trust
for an Artists Residence
Program in Havana.
