Artist Statement for Gonda Bastiaensen
|

|
I am a 55 years old Belgian artist. I have been working as a painter in watercolor and oil on canvas for many years. Some eight years ago I detected the marvellous possibilities of claying as well. For eight/nine months a year I live in the superb French region ofThe Auvergne in a godforsaken hamlet. For the rest of the time I work in my Belgian atelier.
