|
Dirty old coaster. How many other men's bitter brew have sat upon you. I've stopped for the loneliness and the wet sip. The wind was blowing me about with a sail of any empty canvas on my mind. I'm hanging on for dear sanity but the cold is creeping up my sleeves. It's one of those days that even the weather is under the weather, but this empty square needs help home so I can take over the world from my partner. I had just talked to David, he's lost in transit, sirens blaring.
I have never strummed a note . I ended my music career as a pianist before I could stride through a melody. I left singing to an empty audience on a stage of hay bales. All that sway, the rhythm in my young life, still hanging. With all the music that has held my hand through trouble. All I could muster, I guess, is to draw how it has saved me.
