Artist Statement:
The inner world is the main one for me. I try to depict it using laconic, exact details, with one gesture or turn. 2-D space of a canvas is the world that has its own special traditions, borders, laws, the world of an art theatre. The scenery and characters are constantly changing, they are so vulnerable and fragile.
I'd like to learn the music of colour: one moment it is bright and bravura, the next moment it is delicate and refined; it can be shrill and tragical, and at the same time clear and quiet; I have to remove all superfluous, all vain, to find harmony with the external world and myself.
