Artist Statement:
As a designer I am working
mostly with paper, papermaché
and recycling materials.
Under the label "GRELLPASTELL
- fine design" I make
decorations and objects from
papermaché and wearable
jewellery from packaging
materials.
Moreover, I am painting and
drawing, I make graphic- and
webdesign as well as digital
art.
To show the bizarre beauty of
the ordinary, of things
rejected and thrown away is my
intention. The magic of
everyday things, structures
and surfaces shows through,
when they are put in a
different context.
I feel passion for my work, I
am burning. To be creative is
my whole existence.
As a designer, I am trying to
be honest to myself and my
ideas, to find my very own
ways to express myself.
