Artist Statement:
Welcome. I have been painting murals for twenty years. In 1996 I acquired studio space and began working on canvas. My expressive realism graces many private collections in the United States and Europe.
Recent oil sketches, on archival mat board, are affordable originals, making them a great start for first time collectors.Commissions for special subjects are welcome. A rendition of someone's new home would be a treasured house warming gift.
In 1999, I began exploring the intaglio techniques of drypoint, line etching and aquatint. My prints have been quite popular, reminiscent of Goya, Tiepolo and Rembrandt, each plate is worked to bring out the spirit or atmosphere of my subjects. Artist proofs are available as well as small editioned prints (editions from 3 to 50). I often create hand made books out of a series of plates. They become a travel log of sorts, depicting the beauty of places I have visited. Enjoy!
