Artist Statement:
ARTISTIC FILE (C. V.), like painter, of Antonio Gualda.
Antonio Gualda was born in Granada (Spain) in 1.946. From small it showed his inclination by the Arts, emphasizing, of among them, the Painting, the Symphonic Musical Composition and Literature.
Antonio Gualda, in its facet of painter, began of self-taught way, drawing of the natural one or copying of "viñetas" of the "comics". His Manuel brother gave to him, when he was only eleven years old, a book on the drawing to "plumilla", with which he ventured himself in that difficult world. He studied with different teachers (Miguel Ruiz of del Castillo, Pillar Gª Zapater, etc...), and made studies in the School of Arts and O. of Granada. In addition, he received the advice of artists of the prestige of Iván Piñerúa, Manuel Reyes Gutiérrez (National Prize of Wood Stature) and of Antonio Gámez, among others.
He has painted on diverse techniques, that go from the oil, to the most bold expressions (acrylic on boxes of packing, "Blacks & Whites" oils on "collages ", etc...).
