Artist Statement:
Barbara Guran-Eubank has been a practicing artist for more than 25 years. New to the field of Tattooing, she completed her training at the Northwest School of Tattooing in August of 2005, Opening her own studio in her home in November 2005. Barbara brings her years of artistic design experience to her work as a Tattoo Artist. Combined with her spiritual approach to living, Barbara creates beauty and meaning with every activity in her work.
Barbara’s interest in tattooing began as a method of healing for her. She had been injured in years past in an industrial accident that had a major impact on her life. She came upon the idea to take her misfortune and turn it around into something beautiful. So she designed her first tattoo for herself and covered the scar left on her back by the new design, turning a sad reminder of her accident into a beautiful work of Art. It was a defining moment in her life and she decided she wanted to pursue Tattooing as her individual art form.
