Cocaine, Heroin, E,
Marijuana, Alcohol, Music.
It’s an escape from reality
and
everyone needs something to
help them get away.
Life is
monotonous. Each day is so
similar to the next.
Time.
Same amount of
minutes in each hour, same
amount of hours in a day,
every
day. Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and so on.
With as much as
we don’t know about what’s
going to happen in the next
moment every moment, we know
so much as well.
Painting.
My escape. I can
stop time. My body moves, my
hand holds the paintbrush,
I see
things differently. I am
completely unconscious.
Reality is gone and I’m
lost in the painting.
Snap out
of it.
It’s finished and I have no
idea how it happened.
But it is beautiful, even if
just for the escape.
