Artist Statement for Huifen Hao
|
|
|
Hao Huifen's painted artwork has been collected by the Chinese Art Gallery, Tianjing Art Museum and other galleries and individuals of Holland, Spain, Germany, France, US, Australia, Japan, Hongkong and Taiwan.
"THE NATIONAL ART MUSEUM OF CHINA" in Beijing has collected "Catching Butterflies" from the Childhood Series....
1944 - Hao Huifen, born in Baoding of Hebei Province, China.
1964: Graduate from the Middle School attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts; started to work for the Tianjin People's Art Publishing House. Member of the Tianjin Artists Association and Society of Beijing Women Artists.
1966: Published maiden work "Ode to Chinese Plum Flowers".
1976 - 1989: Created and published nearly one hundred Chinese paintings, including "Early Spring in the South", "Spring of Suzhou", "Spring Morning", Spring Games in national professional pictorials and picture albums such as Chinese Paintings, World of Chinese Paintings, Winter Jasmine, Chinese Painting Artists Fuchunjiang Pictorial, Wenhui Monthly and Beijing Monthly in Chinese, French, German, Italian and Japanese.
1976: The Chinese painting “Harvest” chosen as an exhibit for the National Art Exhibition, collected by the Tianjin Art Museum.
1988: Three original works for “Tiger Skin Carpet” chosen as exhibits for National Art Exhibition of Works for Children.
1995: “Childhood” chosen as an exhibit for Chinese Women Artists' Works Exhibition for the Fourth World Conference on Women, collected by the Chinese Art Gallery.
1996: Participated in the Joint Exhibition of Works by Chinese and American Artists held in Philadelphia. “Town of Rivers and Lakes” won Gold Gear Award. Collected by an American Friend.
1996 – 2000: Gave one individual art exhibition and six joint art exhibitions in the Artists' Gallery of Sheraton Tianjin Hotel. A five-star international chain hotel.
1998: Painted 7 pictures for the Sheraton Tianjin Hotel.
2002: Participated in the Chinese Women's Oil Paintings Nomination Exhibition in Beijing, China.
2004: Individual exhibition “Millenium Gallery” in Beijing, China.
2005: Participated in the Eastern Artists Works Exchange Exhibition in Beijing, China.
