Artist Statement:
"Hanamayu" is a patented Japanese artificial flower made from the silk cocoon, created by Tomiko Sakai in Nagoya. "Hana" means flower, and "mayu" means cocoon, in Japanese.
I'm learning how to make Hanamayu flowers. Here's some of my works.
