|
We are all creators of some sort. We are drawn to rearranging things to suit our eyes, examples furniture, table settings, and tools in a tool box. My paintings are my interpretations of emotions I have experienced in my life. I believe that we all view things in differing ways but that there are some emotions that are common in all of us. I believe we are all unique in our makeup but that our underlying connection is our reactions to events and things in life; thus our emotions about these things and events.
We are seeking to balance things out and find meaning in our lives. This balance seeking in a way connects us on some level with other people. Finding a common bond or experience enables us to reassure ourselves that we are not invisible or alone, and that what we are sharing in experiences with others. I try to achieve this with my art. I hope to share and find common ground with others and that somewhere in the mix I create something of beauty.
