Artist Statement:
Mij paintings are very
colourfull and the figures are
mostly kind of confronting.And
that goes for "Hurray 4 4"
too.In 2003 I won the Olympic
Sport and Art Contest of
Holland with the painting: "
Hurray 4 4".In Lausanne at the
World Contest ,this painting
ended at the fifth place.After
the world-contest, Hurray was
shown in Athens during the
Olympic games of 2004.
At the moment "Hurray" is back
in Holland, and will be shown
in differend exhibitions....
