| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Painting was always a hobby and became after early retirement in Switzerland a real passion.
After moving to Australia I picked up the brush again and started painting full-time.
Painting for me is another language to express myself, my feelings and the medium to show in what a beautiful world we live (naturewise). |

| Your Personal Biography |
Born in Zurich (Switzerland) 1943, painting was always a hobby since childhood.
During recent years, he studied the work of several famous artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, E. John Robertson USA (famous for his seascapes) and many more and attended workshops with Pamela Cowper 2006 for Abstract Landscapes.
Most of his artwork is self-tought and done by intuition.
Painting full time since several years in oils, acrylics and mixed media.
Some of his recent series contain Flower Close-ups, Hinterland, Land- and Seascapes as well as Abstracts but he is constantly challengend by new impressions and different techniques.
Peter won serveral awards (1st prize, highly commended and commended) in different contests on the Sunshine Coast and exhibits his work in Sydney, Maleny, Cooroy and is invited to the Regional Galleries of Hervey Bay AUS and Caloundra AUS (2008).
