Artist Statement for Jiro Hirayama
|
|
|
Born in Urawa, Saitama, 1967.
Jiro started out as an assistant to a fashion photographer.
Then he started his professional career as a photographer for an advertising company, where he worked for 12 years taking advertisement photos for major companies.
In 1999, he became a freelance photographer and formed " Gravity Graphics."
He has done many works as a freelance photographer and has been invited as a guest lecture for Canon.
Jiro was one of ten artists chosen by Canon to have his work displayed on the wall of the Canon booth for "Photo Imaging Expo 2005."
