Artist Statement for John Houle
|

|
John ( Houly ) Houle is a Canadian Artist, who has been producing realistic wildlife art for most of his life. His passion has expanded to include doing portraits and figurative work as well as a surreal style or characters and scenes in the past years.
Working fulltime as a designer for a large monumental firm, Houly has been creating his art in his spare time during evenings and weekends. Hoping to gain more exposure and attempt to make a career out of painting fulltime.

Jean (Houly) Houle est un Artiste Canadien, qui depuis sa jeuneusse produit de l'art réaliste de la faune et de la flore. Dernièrement il a dévelloppé sa passion a inclure les portraits, du travail figuratif, des personnages et scènes ainsi qu'un style surréel.
Houly travail comme graphiste pour une grande firme de monument en granite. C'est dans ses moments libres, les soirées et fins de semaine, qu'il crée son art. Il desire augmenter son exposition et se faire connâitre pour transformer son passe-temps en carrière.
