Dance, Light & Color collection
This collection has 4 things that have provoked me in my life:
THE HUMAN BODY
I have a fascination for the human body especially if it is naturally fit, earned with hard discipline, those athletic and expressive bodies captivate me. These bodies are wrapped in theater wardrobe that exalts its forms and movements adding text and color.
THEATHER LIGHTS
The magic of artificial lights is an argument to creativity, light that can make the floor look like water, altering colors, adding reflections and contrasts to the human body, this takes you to a world with valid extreme skin colors, where there are no restrictions, modern light that aloud me to explode in color party.
DANCE POSTURES
We are living in time where the esthetics of the dance is communicated trough a wide variety of styles, each one different in movements, postures and wardrobe and most of all in the feeling that they let us, passion, strength harmony sensuality.
In the movements sequences of dance, beautiful postures are adopted, they hold for an instance, these postures created by years of work of gifted choreographers.
Postures that I can not stop desiring to freeze and create in a canvas.
PERFORMANCE
Performance in dance is making the music go trough your body and Express it trough movement. These dancers They adopt postures that sometimes is unbelievable that a human body can do them, but they do it performing transmitting, stories, emotions & feelings.
In this collection I try to capture those beautiful bodies, wrapped in colors, blended with the magical colors of modern theater lights, in esthetic postures taken from diverse dance styles, transmitting movement sensation and expressing the dancer deepest feelings and mine.
