Artist Statement for Chuka Machie

I am a self taught artist from eastern part of Nigeria in West Africa. My style of art work is not consistent since it fluctuates between realism and aabtract. They depict different level of life and forms though I prefer to work mostly on theme that portrays African(predominantly Nigerian)way of life and culture.
