Ilaria Jve was born in 1973 in Rome (Italy), where attends various art schools.
She start as a jewels designer, as a photographer and goldsmith; but then she finds the work of her life: painting.
After some periods living between U.K. and Egypt she start her interior way researching balance between colours and signs.
Jve has a strong and resolute character and she brings to modern art a not that much classic breeze.
Decidedly projected to the future she combines really dark outlines, mixing black and brune and other materials that seem to fix figures to unreal backgrounds.
There’s a contrast in Jve: she gives a poetic emotion.
The frame of the pictures get cancelled by the monochromatic mixture of colours, but it’s extremely efficacious to define a daily reality.
Her paintings hide something that can not be expressed by anything else but a strong pain shout, mixed with anger.
Black colour and plaster seem to come out like a never healed scar.
Her expressive strength gives an immediate conviction. Her paintings voice the solitude of modern men and transmit the constant research of himself.
This research has to continue…..
