Artist Statement:
as an artist, i have always
been fascinated with the
beauty of the patterns and
relationships i see in my
world. guided by my intuition
and architectural training, i
am eternally amazed by the
rhythms and textures of man’s
creations integrating with the
natural world. in exploring my
hometown of Lansing, i was
originally drawn to capturing
it’s familiar scenes and
landscapes. as my artistic
confidence and spiritual
understandings grew, i
deepened my explorations into
pure color and composition.
i am delighted to show these
humble attempts at capturing
the beauty of my world. these
images are simply tangible
recordings of my conversation
with the world, a glimpse of
where my artistic explorations
have led me and signposts of
the direction where the path
is leading.
i don’t really know where i am
going in my explorations, the
images and techniques keep
evolving and changing in
completely new ways as i feel
internal artistic stirrings
and new commission work comes
in. the variety keeps growing
the longer i walk this
artistic path and the deeper I
see into the magic of this
world....
