Artist Statement:
Summary
Cameron is a self-taught artist whose exceptionally intense eyes allow him to create the abstract art you will be viewing.
Cameron’s family is an integral part of his happiness and his craft. Cameron is the third oldest of 11 children. This afforded him a wonderfully creative base to draw upon during his formative years.
Of course, other sources influenced Cameron. Many of his first experiences with art came about in the most ordinary of manners. The most inspirational force is his mother. Out of an inward requisite to create, much like her son, was forever finding ways to make the ordinary exceptional. She and Cameron possess a kindred spirit. It is through these experiences that he had found his calling. He could create. Cameron’s talent progressed over time and he began to sketch using just paper and a black pen. He reveled in the look of the stark lines, the details he could give his drawings and the simplicity of the finished product. His most recent venture is abstract painting. This medium allowed texture, depth and color that his inspirations possess in his imaginative thoughts.
