Artist Statement for Joseph Boss

Joseph Boss' work focuses around modern art and exploring mixed mediums utilizing textures. His strikingly bold colors, design sense, and appeal to depth evokes an unnerving presence. Sometimes his uses in design are considered agitating viewers leading one to reminensce old masters as Gustav Klimit and baroque styling. This elegant appeal not only reveals his pecularity for richness and opulence in presentation but is executed in a way to releive his overall own satisfaction. Joseph, personally, loves the idea of perpetuating and intriguing his viewers with his technique when convincing them that art isn't just historically theorized but new aged when approaching the future and art technology.

Boss's work is gallery represented. His work was also commissioned by a bank. In his spare time he enjoys volunteering for many organizations benefitting the need of under privaledged and helath advocating issues for all people. He garnered reviews from art publications and is advancing his studies in fine art.
