Artist Statement:
I believe that my works are
unique in that I do not work
from any models or references
whatsoever. I search the
quarries for suitable stones
and I can see these ancient
souls residing in these
stones. I decide to then
release their spirits by
chipping away the dead parts,
to reveal for example, the
Caretaker. I consider all of
my sculptures a part of my
life, my children, in a sense,
which are a tremendous part of
my being....
