Commissions for Jacquie Vaux:
Jacquie Vaux is currently working on the largest commission of her career. The commission features twelve paintings of Colorado wildlife and landscapes. The largest of the twelve is nine and a half feet by 30 inches and features an aspen grove with a family of raccons in the trees in the foreground. This painting is currently in lprogress and will be features on the site in the next two months. The other large lpainting is 66 inches by 66inches and features a white tail deer with two fawns on the edge of a pond where three wood ducks are swiming. I will next be working on a large paintin 30 inches by 68 inches of a family of wood ducks, with the babys just leaving the nest and jumping down to the water where there mother is encouraging them to take the leap into the water. I have also completed four other paintings 20 inches by 20 inches of chicadees in a tree, golden mantled ground squirels, a robin on the nest, and a grey squirel in an ash tree. The final paintings in this commission are a black bear and cubs by a pond,38"x 78" an elk family in the woods,38 inches by 78 inches, a mute swan family,30 inches by 58 inches, a fox family,26 inches by 30 inches, and a marmet in the rocks 20 inches by 20 inches. Completing these paintings has so far been the high light of my career. I am currently accepting extra large commissions for the 2009 summer season here in Colorado.
