The paintings I make speak of light & structure, and solitude, but not loneliness. And, although my subject involves conservation, I avoid the nostalgia so often associated with agricultural imagery.

May 2009. "Paintings of Ohio Barns" An exhibit celebrating historic barn structures from Ohio. Opening on May 15, and continuing until June 15. Kussmaul Gallery, Granville, Ohio.
May 2008. Brush With Art II. An invitational exhibit celebrating the dedication of the new gallery space at "The Works, Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology", in Newark, Ohio. The exhibit runs from May 09 - June 13, 2008.
September 2006. "The Road to Malabar"
A comprehensive exhibit featuring oil paintings created over a one year period. This body of work concentrated on both Malabar Farm, as well as the journey to reach this destination. The show was presented in the newly completed equestrian barn at Kussmaul Farm in Alexandria, Ohio.
Over 300 guests enjoyed an evening of fine wine and food surrounded by the tranquil farmland.
July 2005. "My Hometown". An Acrylic painting featuring the artist's wife and daughters was chosen as the official image to commemorate Granville's Bicentennial. A juried exhibition was held at the historic Bryn Du mansion, where this painting was displayed.
August 2005. "Hometown Images". An exhibition featuring original oil on canvas paintings of the historic Granville area. The exihibit was held at Kussmaul Gallery in Granville, Ohio.
