struggle!
Split realities: lost!
"I am inspired by the
persistence of the human
spirit and think of my art as
coded reflections: essence
actualized through the act of
creating. In themselves a
means of conversation
revealing personal truths and
feelings that elevate theories
of unity and the premise of
the Other: the spirit within."

Biography
I pursues my interests in various forms of art making. Printmaking, Painting and Sculpture and have an insane love of glass.
Major influences in my art can be accredited to the inspiration derived from the instruction of notable artists: Arthur Edward Cleeve Horne, W. W. Gelder, Mieke Bevelander, Howard Greenaway, Ted Fullerton, Stu Oxley, Marlene Hilton-Moore, Gary Evans, Amy Switzer, Tim Lauren and an infatuation with Karel Appel.
Luchese's first solo exhibit was held at the BAC Gallery, Barrie, Ontario in February 2008. An active regional artist exhibiting at Zephyr Art Gallery in Orillia an and although emerging, her work is included in many private collections in the Region.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
An Honour Graduate of Sheridan College Graphic Design Program (1976) and Georgian College Advance Fine Arts Program (2008): currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, through Thompson Rivers University, BC. |
