Born in Point Lonsdale, Australia, I am fascinated by the sea. I grew up with the lighthouse booming on foggy nights and spent Summer days at the beach as shipping braved The Rip – the dangerous entrance to Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay.
Living in Melbourne for some years I now reside in Ocean Grove. I’m basically a self-taught artist having painted since I was a child with the wish to express how I feel about the sea. It seems a natural extension to paint yachts and colourful catamarans skimming aross the mysterious and ever changing ocean. ... |
