Artist Statement:
I am a freelance illustrator -
I love my job.
My detail oriented work in
color or b/w is perfect for
realistic style illustration.
I illustrate people, animals,
insects, objects, and
buildings in current,
historical or futuristic
settings from images, models
or structural information.
Though I usually work in mixed
media, you may request
watercolor, acrylic, gouache,
pencil, ink, dye or pastel.
I am skilled in creating small
scale realistic polymer clay
sculptures as well.
I can also coordinate all
aspects of print production.
I meet with my client to
discuss the overall look, or
the nature and content of the
project. We discuss what
illustrations or graphic
images are needed to best
convey the client's message.
Along with the client's input
I also consult specialists and
reference materials,
synthesizing all the
information into accurate,
purposeful, slice-of-life
roughs and final images.
