Biggest Artistic Inspiration I have a couple of big moments of inifluence in my life that influenced the way I improved my skill: 1) When I was in first grade, I overheard my teacher rave about what an artist I was because I drew people with bodies that were anitomicly correct and not just from my imagination; 2) When I was in sixth grade, I had an art teacher that gave assignments and when we werw all done, he would hold a critique. He would put my picture in the middle and tell everyone else that there pictures were great and tear mine up. Well, two years later I found out that he thought I had some real potential and that he was trying to help me do better. I hated him for that first two years, but I totally admired him for the rest of my life; 3) When I was fourteen, I had heard that the whole life of a person could be cought in their face, so I started taking a real interest in portraits. I still have my first portrait I drew.

Why Did You Become An Artist I became and artist because it was all I wanted to do since I was five. (That teacher really influenced me!) Also, I wanted to be just like my grandmother who was an artist. She had seven children who were crative, but never took up art or became an artist.
