Artist Statement:
Subject of my creation is
landscape and still life.
My artwork reflects nature
capturing the impressionistic
view of the world.
My vision of colors and tones
is composed based on
scrupulous observation of the
surroundings.
My paintings include warm
tones of colors and balanced
composition.
My paintings were exhibited in
many galleries in Poland. My
artwork enriches many
interiors in US and Europe.
1. Birth of Passion
Even as a small child I felt
an overwhelming desire to draw
and paint everything that
surrounded and fascinated me
(and I was captivated by
almost everything around me);
it might have been motifs from
the fairytales I read, or the
ships I saw on my trip to the
sea. I remember being driven
by the need to recreate all of
these “attractions” on paper.I
created my first oil on canvas
at the age of 11.
It was very dark, because
nobody told me to use white
paint to lighten it… There was
probably more paint on the
furniture, carpet and my
clothes than on the painting
itself… But it was the
unlimited color possibilities
of oil paints that fascinated
me the most…
