Artist Statement for Jeanette Jarmon

|
My work is diversified and without just one look. Depending on the message and mood when I create, the styles will change. I work with all sizes and in a variety of media. My work encompasses both detail, realism and abstraction. I may do detail pencil work, portraits, landscapes, stilllifes, spiritual expressionism. Ususally painting, I also create three-diemsnional work and also paint furniture. I do a little bit of a lot of things. I work from realism to abstract expressionism. I like variety, so my work reflects that. I like a challange and will try something new with a sense of discovery maybe to never do that type art again. But the mainstay of art media for me are oil paints. Murals are done in acrylic. Variety is the spice of life.
