Artist Statement for Joel Armstrong

|
|
As an installation artist, I want the viewers to participate in the experience, let it become their own story, own experience to remember. Working with wire helps me lose a bit of control, because the wire will only do certain things, you can't force it. Most of all, I hope that those that venture into one of my installations to come away feeling that they have experienced something different, something "spiritual".
