Artist Statement for Jason Lee

|
|
Everyone that I have known in my life has taught me something or helped me in some way, and I them. It is a constant, like the energy that connects all things. It flows like water, with no beginning and no end. Every choice I make affects everything, good or bad. One cannot exist without the other. Like science, nature, spirituality, and the philosophical theories behind them, these thoughts influence my work. When I paint live, I try to create an image from the music and people around me.
