Jason Scarpace, Fish Artist.

b.1971 Buffalo, New York
Married to beautiful Melanie,
June 2001.
Devoting his life towards
helping children learn to
create art, to think
creatively, and to recognize
their true potential - through
art.
Accepted artist at Artfest -
Dallas 1994-1996. Several
one-artist showings between
Dallas, San Angelo, and
Austin, Texas. Widely
collected across Texas.
Originals currently in
collections in all 50 United
States, and 8 different
nations around the world.
Bachelor of Science -
Education. Angelo State

Statement: As an artist I am
acutely aware that my works
represent me - my emotions, my
feelings, even my every
thought is very often revealed
in my work. At times, all of
my works even look as if they
are self-portraits. I paint
fish, seems simple enough,
it's the answer I give to
people everyday when I am
asked "what do you paint"? I
allow my works to answer for
me completely though, with the
good that they produce on a
daily basis both for myself
and others. My works are
exactly what I feel they
